I am going to my local apple shop tomorrow to talk to some genius about a problem with my ipod involving: -Random DFU mode Please Register or Log in to view images -Battery life not holding very well even on very low brightness -A few dead pixels/screen problem Clearly, they should replace it...BUT...My ipod serial number is not recognised by the apple website, and i bought it from eBay. I still have the email eBay sent me when i bought it, and my iTunes account was created when i got my ipod (january). How else can i prove when i got it so they add it to the DB? And can i do this in store? Cheers! ------------------double post merged------------------OMG! You know how i said my ipod wasn't holding charge? I assume it is a battery fault, but i just went to take my ipod off charge with an official apple mains charger and it was so hot it burnt my finger...Has this happened to anyone? Now i'm guarranteed they will replace it because if not, i could probably sue them.
