I am trying to decide which to get, the 8 or the 16. I have a 30 gb video for music and stuff but im looking at the touch as more of like a PDA. The 8 is cheaper and can do the same amount of stuff as the 16 but it just cant hold as much. This is my dillema save the 100 and probably buy soon or wait for the 16 and might not need that much memory. Any help from people who have been in that situation?

If you're only going to use the touch as a PDA then 8GB would be plenty. I dunno if you'd want to carry around both your touch and your other ipod tho I know I wouldn't

Sounds like the 8GB would be perfect for your needs.

Then again you may want the larger one and load up some movies to see on a larger screen.

To tell you the truth, I've always found that it is better to go for the larger capacity player because you'll be surprised how fast that thing will fill up. Now if you still intend to carry around your 30gig, then I'd say to stick with the 8gig, but otherwise I think the 16gig would be a smarter investment.

Go for the 16 GB, if you dont need it right this instant, get the 16 GB.

I honestly think the best thing to do would be to wait. Supposedly, a 32gb version is going to come out sometime this year, and it could possibly have flash. Then the 16 gb would be cheaper, and a used 8gb would sell for even cheaper than that.
