No applause please...I am here...I got my iPod Touch a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE IT!

I just have a question though. I have a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen...almost. Anyway to fix that? It bugs me a little.

Try Hitting it a couple of times. It might work. no no no nononononono

    j/k

Ok well what you can do is take it to Apple store and tell them your problem.

Be agressive but not rude as they will not replace it.

That is all you need to know my young grasshopper.

LOL oh god I really have to stop.

Ok what you can also do is go to Apple site and ask them question. First thing they will probably ask is "is the iPod still under warranty"

So You say yes. Say you got it like that.

And maybe you'll be lucky enough to get another one.

Most likely it's just stuck and there is a web app you can use to fix it.

for the pixel, take a barely damp towel, put it across the screen (don't let it touch the jacks), and take a pointed object, like a ball point pen, and apply a little bit of pressure ON THE TOWEL right above the spot where the dead pixel is. Also if this does not work, turning the screen on and off a few times can solve it, as well as a change in bright colors.

BY THE WAY: Here's that webapp, leave it up for a bit of time, and it will most likely fix that pixel

Ehh...Nevermind. I am just going to send it into Apple. I HATE those kind of things. They don't work half of the time anyway. Thanks anyway

Didn't see the need to create another thread. I'm a first gen iPod Touch user. New to this message board.
