I'm going to try updating the iphone software on my ipod

    well here's the deal, my touch is pretty much daed (i accidently went swimming with it last week, and not i have no wifi and backlight) so i'm going to give up my ipod to see if its possible to get the iphone software working............

    Yeah don't do it. I just did it for sh*ts and giggles on my 100% perfect 8GB 1.1.3 iPot and it just wiped it and I had to restore.

    I just did it.

    Now I'm on 1.1.4 and I can't move any of my icons etc. Happy days.

    I have a serious drinking problem.

    It's not going to work so whats the point? iTunes will stop the process, or even if it does load, it will never boot.
