i dont recommend hp laptops from personal experience

they come with a TON of preloaded crap(need a clean install)
they get extremely hot including the chargers..its ridiculous

Ive had one and its great. You probably got a big laptop though, and those get hot regardless of what surface they are on, big laptops have a tendency to get very warm. Although the charger on mine is quite warm, only when its pluged into the computer. Regardless, Ive had a great experience with mine.

He's got a point with all the preloaded sh*t though.
Every like 5 mins my mom's laptop pops up with some gay HP music update.

nice, i wish i could get one. My friend is getting a $6000 falcon northwest laptop for no reason bc he is spoiled, and he doesn't even understand how pc's are built or the specs or how it works...

He's right about that, but geeksquad/firedog or even you can remove that. Theres some program i heard of called PC decrapifier and it supposedly gets rid of all of that stuff. I myself disabled most of that stuff.

@ b1j4nt: My friend got a super expensive laptop and his friend broke the hinge and he just got another one and didnt even bother to fix it. It really is aggravating when people just get things whenever they want and others have to work very hard.

i had a white 15 inch one first
then bought a 12 inch tablet
both had the same problem..and hp cant get tablets right...my 15 inch laptop was faster than it..and the the tablet had a better processor and 2+ gb ram more
im on my new macbook now..and never going back
p.s. im not spoiled..the macbook was my own money and the tablet is being used as a work computer at my dads business and my sister uses the 15 inch one
