I'm confused.

    Everyone that keeps making threads about how they downloaded OS 3.0 and need help.

    Isn't that against the rules? They're obviously not developers, yet I see no one getting warnings.

    I just want clarification on if I should help them or not, because I thought downloading 3.0 if you not a developer is in violation of something.

    So yeah. Clarification?

    Well, developers can activate 100 iPod touch/iPhones, and a lot of people actually pay developers to do that, which I think is illegal. But basically, there could be up to 99 people running 3.0 legally for every developer.

    I just reported a post for this a minute ago. The announcements say no discussing circumventing activation check, which is not even an issue with GM, and no leaking the firmware. So maybe discussion is allowed? Though I doubt it.

    Wow. I never knew that the developers can activate 100 ipod's.
