Seems like a good idea seeing that it can download music, video, ebooks, .docs, and pretty much everything that other Installer apps can view on the iTouch.

Limewire IS open source, so I'm guessing if it or some other P2P client can be released, it will be after the SDK, and paid. But if anyone here is curious too and can develop this, feel free to try it out.

seeqpod is limited to media like music and videos.

    limewire does all.

Which reminds me - no java plugin on iTouch. Limewire can't work without Java runtime. Hoping for something else then...

I believe I see a JRE in installer let me just check from what millions of repos it's from.....

The repo is hard to track down which exactly it is....have too many here but there should be a folder called .....wait for it now..... Java under installer that has a JamVM which claims to be a fully compliant vm that conforms to specification 2. GNU classpath tools among other java related items are in this folder. Saurik's repo I think....

SO then it wouldn't be hard to use say a universal jar binary like azureus?.....hmm. Like I said it would probably kill your ipod but if we could find a smaller program or say a java client of soulseek....
