Okay, the last time I jailbroke my iPod was with ZiPhone 2.6b and that was a while ago... I have a mac computer G5 PPC.

I would search, but the search feature appears to be down now so ill just post it here.

Which should I use to jailbreak? ZiPhone or iLiberty? I want a FAST and STABLE jailbreak that i can rely on for a long time. Which one is better for mac? I had no trouble with ZiPhone 2.6b but I hear that new versions install Cydia as well? So any opinions would be great.

    Thanks!!
    Chort

Keep using 2.6b or Pwnage Tool. If you need help with Pwnage Tool let me know, it's easy also. Don't mess with Cydia, Installer is better since the update. Keep in mine 2.0 should be coming soon so maybe using Pwnage Tool to prep for it might be the way to go.

    ZiPhone rules man.
    I haven't had a crash/bug issues/restore mode since I first installed it.
TBH, I haven't had any problems at all, and that makes a lot of people happy.
    Defintely recommend ZiPhone!

Or unless i'm being too ignorant, I don't know if iLiberty is any better.
No, ZiPhone 3.0 does not install Cydia, it installs... installer, lol.

ziphone 3.0 is the most stable and if you have problems just check off the problem in the advanced section

I just went from a jb 1.1.2 to jb 1.1.4. I used iLiberty first. It worked realy well, but the installer it installs does not allow you to add sources (no iphone apps on any of the sources it has installed.).

I then restored my ipodT 16g to 1.1.4 and jb it with ziphone. Works just as good, plus a better installer (can add custom sources).

There may be a way to add sources with the iLiberty installer, but I could not find it.
