Everybody knows Guitar for the iPod touch, and iAno, but what about iInstrument?
It should be something like iAno and Guitar, but combined. There should be a menu with selectable instruments, like flute, trumpet, clarinet, oboe, harp, piano, guitar, bass guitar etc.
I think that would be interesting playing many different instruments in one app.

yeah this is a good idea but u need to think logically in terms of using it on the touch, some of the instruments u named u have to blow into, how are you gonna simulate that? but apart from that this would be a great BIG app that would be nice to have, also the guitar could be like Moo's but for strumming instead of invidual tones, would be awsome! plus i like the bass idea, not like pocketguitars

I think Blizzard42 is saying that the idea is that of a synthesizer (electric piano), you have a piano-like interface but with the choice of choosing what instrument you want the notes to sound like. That would be a great idea imo.

    Well,
I think its possible to simulate the instruments and do the layout for playing them, for example clarinet, it could look like this:

But only the fingering chart without the notes. then it can be bigger and you can press with your fingers the buttons for the sounds

This exists for flutes etc. too!
