ihome problom

    ok im useing ihome4 the one with alarm clock but when i turn it on to play music it plays the music but their is a fussy noise in the background and help? thanks

    umm make sure it's not the song...try listening to different songs to see if the problem persists. if it does, then it's the speaker's problem.
    Go to where you bought it and tell them your 'problom'

    i emailed them about a year ago about this. make sure cell phones are not within 30ish feet of it. also, make sure no wireless activity is in use near it.

    Shouldn't it be able to tolerate interference?

    I have my Logitech Pure-Fi on here, with my cell phone next to it, and my wireless laptop in front of it. No problems whatsoever.

    Shows shoddy built quality IMO.

    I have an iHome as well and sometimes before it plays the alarm it has a slight static noise but goes away.

    same. never had trouble with my bose sounddock except too good of a sound quality =P

    but i remember my old desktop speakers would give squeeks whenever there was a phone ringing nearby...so annoying

    I get the same problem with my office speakers (SonicGear ego 3nity), whereby a buzzing sound will emit when my phone rings or receives text messages next to it... Somehow, the Altec IM600 at home does not make this noise though, even though I usually charge the phone next to the unit also!
