Does anyone know if the iPod Touch 2G is compatible with the iHome ih6? It's an older model, and I'm not sure if it is, afterh earing about iPod 2G dock woes. If anyone is confused, the picture here is what the iHome ih6 looks like. It's a gift someone if giving to me.

My guess, being that it is older, is no, that it is not compatible.

Apple really enjoys cashing in on their products.

I have the original iHome and it works fine with my iPhone. I get a message on the phone that says its not made for this device something something, but it still works fine.

I own this iH6/8 and it works perfectly fine with my iPhone AND my 1st and 2nd gen iPod Touch. Or you can just purchase the newer iH9 model which is iPod Touch compatible.

Yes it would work, because the "30 pin dock connector" is the same as older iPods.
