    Hi all,

I can't delete files via iFile.

    I get this:
Error - The file file name could not be deleted.

Also, when I try to modify the file attributes, I get this:
Error - File attributes could not be changed or only partially.

However, I have no problems when I use WinSCP.

    My Device:
    iTouch (1G) Firmware: 2.2.1
    iFile Version: 1.10-1

    Thanks for your help!

Well, I've been experimenting and so far, it seems to be any kind of file.
docs, jpgs, folders, mp4s, zips, etc.

Well, I think I'm using the latest version of iFile as well, so it's probably not the firmware.

Try this, click on the blue arrow to the side of the file name to access the file settings, once there go down to access permissions, click on user, and make sure all four options are selected,
    Execute
    Write
    Read
    Sticky
Now try to do what you needed to do.

Also if that doesn't work, try rebooting to update the files and to remove ones that aren't really there.

Doesn't work for me either? Anyone? It worked fine on iOS 4.1.
