iFans Community Project: "100 Reasons to Jailbreak"

    Let's start a project that involves users posting one reason or benefit to jailbreaking an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad (iOS 5 / iOS 6).

    Please only post one reason at a time and do not post back-to-back reasons (i.e. you shouldn't have 2 comments in a row).

    Once we reach 100 reasons, I will compile them into a giant list (I'm debating a discussion thread / PDF file / video) and expand on each of them with a detailed description. Each user that contributes a reason will be credited appropriately.

    I'll start.

    Reason #1: Jailbreaking provides root access to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

    Which you don't actually need to jailbreak to do, but Cydia will automatically save your blobs for you, so sure :p
    Reason #10: You can modify/remove files in order to speed up your iDevice.
