my ipod has done this a few times to me and i just thought id tell you how to get round it...

if your touch wont turn on (short or long press of sleep button or anything) then hold the sleep button and the home button for about 10secs and it should shart up and go to th "slide to unlock" screen.

Today I was on a field trip, and when we were inside, I tried to turn on my iPod, and nothing happened. I held the home button, the power button, both of them, and nothing. I tried to plug my brother's iTurbo in to charge it, and it didn't help. Then a few minutes later it randomly decided to come on

My iPhone randomly does that somtimes. And I will keep pressing the button (Sleep/Wake button on iPhone is harder to push), and then it will flash on and off.
