If you switch to an iPhone from an iPod Touch.

    And you have bought a bunch of apps and stuff on that account.
    If you just plug it in and your signed in to your account, will it sync the apps?

    Just wondering for when I get my iPhone.

    Yes, they should all sync fine.

    Say if you downloaded something from iTunes store and if you deleted that app from your library yes you can download it again and it will sync to your device and to your library. When you download something that you had downloaded before on the iTunes store it will ask you "you have downloaded this app before are you sure you want to download it again" hope this helps =).
