I had the light leak so I brought it into the apple store. I showed it tot he guy and they just gave me a new one in packaging and everything. It is only a day old but I still had a couple scratches so this time I just Invisishielded it right away.

Yeah, but then you have a chance at getting a worse light leak(s) than the one you exchanged had.

True, there is a chance of that. But in that case you can always return that one for a new one, as well. It depends on how much you value your time, but I'd say the chances are in your favor that you will get a perfect touch.

You have a low chance of getting an iPod with no problems. I think it's really nothing...

I'm amazed at some of the smallest things people whine about here.

We are not whining. We paid a lot of money on this ipod touch. For this amount of money, we should not be having these problems!

A light leak is actually something that could get pretty annoying when using the iPod in low light though, so I think this is a legitimate thing to "whine" about. I am, of course, assuming that what you mean by "light leak" is that light shows between the glass and the metal backing.

To speak the truth, there shouldn't be anything to complain about, at all! I mean. Since we're actually paying a whole bunch of money for this iPT4, we expect it to be perfect.

It's not whining after the amount we pay for it. Not to mention some of these issues could lead to more serious ones.
