If you have jailbroke your 2g...

    then you absoluetly should not restore your ipod from a backup. i just tried to do that and it screwed my ipod touch so badly. thank god i fixed it. but trust me, you don't want to do that. i know it's irritating that you can't restore the back up. but cydia is better than not having a few adjusted settings on your ipod haha.

    Just curious, but are there any bugs after you JB? Like i mean to the iPod generally, not the applications.

    I had one problem with doom which reset my ipod requiring me to connect it to my hackintosh to restore.

    nope. nothing different from the 1g jailbreak except that cydia and everything runs (literally) 10 times faster.

    well, after backing up itunes simply reboots ur ipod, so all u have to do is the last step u did when u first jailbroke it, and u will have to do this step each time u reboot as well...

    i made that mistake, and when i t said "Restoring" on the screen of my iPod i unplugged it lol.

    it made my iPod turn into an "untitled playlist"

    but it did sync all my stuff then later changed back.

    anyone having problems connecting to their wifi afterwards cause thats the only think im having problems with right now
