I updated from pawned 2.0 directly to 2.0.1. I knew I would lose Cydia and my jailbroken apps. I see now that pawnage for 2.0.1 will probably come out today. Is my ipod touch still pawned, meaning I just have to pawn the 2.0.1 firmware, or do I have to re-pawn my touch?

You will have to jailbrake it again, yes. It's a completely new firmware.

Pawning isn't anything. It is 'Pwn' because people spelt 'Own' incorrectly.

PAWN: (Used in sentance) You could pawn your ipod, or you could give it to me instead.

Pawn: to sell your items to a store (like a pawn shop for example; bring your old VCR or w/e in and they will give you money in return, based on condition, value, item itself, etc)
Pwn: some retarded slang that is commonly used on the internet to show that you "owned" someone or something, also used in this case of jailbreaking.

    clear difference.

Thank you for hijacking this thread. I was really just looking for some information. Sorry that I inadvertently wrote pawn instead of pwn. Really just trying to find out if updating rather than restoring leaves your ipod in a pwned condition.

updating or restoring causes you to lose all of your jailbroken stuff, apps, cydia everything, you'll have to rrpwn it and re download everything from cydia, to me updating it jut isnt worth it, im used to 2.0 and it hasnt crashed as much as it used to sice i pwned it, so its up to you, keep everything or redo everthing

What? Do you mean if you Update to 2.0.1 You don't lose your apps?
    1.You do lose your apps
2.Restore and Update Are BASICLY the same thing Except Minor Differences
