just wondering because i dont see an sdk app
Yeah, the SDK hasn't been released. Over at engadget, they speculated that due to the hefty size of the new firmware, and no noticeable new features, the SDK was on the way, at some point.
I bet the 1.1.4 will just be activated for SDK at some point when Apple is ready through Itunes. Makes sense, because they won't have to release another firmware, just notify Itunes over the web..
I think SDK will be 1.1.5 just to make sure it works properly i think, peopel got all excited about this stuff, however I see apple charging money for each app or something lol, hope they will still let people develop and give their apps for free
what is this SDK everyone is talking about?
sorry if i sound like a noob D:
next time search, but SDK is a software development kit, and lets developers make apps for the iphone and ipod touch without jailbeeak, but you will probably have to pay for them, so jailbreak will still exist after sdk comes out
I seriously doubt they would make another Firmware that quickly. Yes they made one for 1.1.4 but sdk could possibly be out in another week or so. Also people are so excited because the SDK is a kit giving developers the tools in order to create 3rd party apps and send them to apple. Apple also doesn't decide whether they have prices or not. The creators do.
Ya but apple doesnt have to put it on itunes if they dont want to...
i think sdk will be cool if it also be jailbroken at the same time because you can get those apps for free in installer probably and apple has a lot of professional app makers that could probaly make some really cool apps
SDK won't be an app on your springboard.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT
Also I think iTunesMobileStore will be they way to download SDK apps from apple.
