iOS 4.1 If JB and Unlock Fail on 4.1 - will it be possible on 4.0.2 ?

    I'm not sure what you mean by fail. The dev team have, will for the foreseeable future develop jailbreaks for major firmware versions. No system is perfect and they'll be able to find an exploit for 4.1 so its pretty safe on that front. As for the unlock, if you've backed up your 4.0.x shsh blobs, you can update to 4.1 without updating the baseband (preserving the unlock).

    There won't be a jailbreak for 4.0.2. The only jailbreak 4.0.2 will get is the one that works on 4.1, which will consequently work on 4.0.2.

    no i am asking about the bad scenario... if they cant find a way to jb 4.1 then will they try to find a way for 4.0.2 ?


    and is it possible to back up (4.0.2 OTB) shsh blobs?
    can you give a link about that?
