    its not illegal. apple is just kidding themselves. they can't do anything about it. there are so many people who jailbreak, that they can't target all of us. it may void our warranty, but apple is just saying its "illegal" to try and scare us. its not illegal at all.

    if it was illegal than they would make custom firmwares so they are not accessable by programs, and if it was illegal than every person that had a JB ipod that broke they would put them in jail or sue them. i dont see that happening....do u?

    haha I'd still jailbreak (already have) They cant tell me that after spending $300+ i cant do what i want with my device

    probably all over the world... but i wouldn't get my hopes up of apple actually enforcing this...
