    Hi

    Quick question:

If I use Spirit to jailbreak my iPod Touch today, what happens if/when I install the iPhone OS 4 when Apple releases it?

Basically I'm wondering if the new OS will simply remove the Jailbreak (which is okay)
or if I will have to restore/reset my iPod and lose my (Non-Cydia) Saved Game/App Data (Which is not okay)

    Thanks

Yes, it will remove the jailbreak. No, you won't have to restore.

I believe he will have to restore. OS 4.0 isn't an update with small bug fixes, it has new features, which will require a restore.

    Great, thanks for your help.
I used Spirit on my iPod, it worked without a problem and was done in a couple minutes.
