If I leave my iPod on Hold...

    Instead of turning it off overnight, does it drain battery?
    or something?

    Yes, but slowly. It's barely noticeable.

    leaving something on will always use battery power... say if you left it on hold for 8 hours, without bluetooth or wifi on... i reckon it'd kill maybe 5 or 10% of power...

    not really an issue, unless you're that desperate for that negligable power

    it's better to just leave it in sleep. uses more battery to turn it on and off.

    Yeah I just leave it on sleep. It will not damage the iPod, it does use a little bit of battery though. (Just a tiny bit, barely even noticable)

    Turning it off and on takes a long time and uses more power.

    Ya i know , like my friend would turn his iPod off , use the bathroom turn his iPod back on and say he is conseving his batterie ... lol it uses 10% to boot up

    i havent turned mine off in months (literally)
    its fine i notice no battery drainage at all.
