If i have a mic, do i still need a wifi connection for the calls to work?

    theres no wifi connection where i am. its always locked.

    The answer is simply YES. You must be connected to a Wi-Fi network in order for you to make calls with SIP-VoIP.

    Yes you do need a WiFi connection in order for calls to work. Unless you have an iPhone. Because the iPod touch does not have EDGE. There is a way to connect the iPod touch to your wireless 3G phone though. Maybe that would work for you since you don't have wifi

    VOIP(Voice over IP) means internet calls. You need internet to make and receive these type of calls. You need wi-fi for internet.
