Then for Christ sake get a better way of backing up your game saves. It sucks that if you restore you loose your saved data. I know you can restore from a backup but for some odd reason that didn't carry over my saved game data. And sometimes those backups get corrupt. Why not have it so when you save it actually saved the app in that state in your app library?

But when you backup in iTunes it saves all your data…

Like I said for some reason after I restored it did not backup my saved data, Plants Vs Zombies, etc. Nothing is there, everything is gone. From what I understand it saves your game saves in a backup file and not the app itself. So in other words if something goes wrong in the backup file you loose all your saves like what just happened with me.

Works for me, I backed up before i restored, and I just needed to sync my apps again. All game data was saved.

Yeah, just click "Back-Up" under your iPod in iTunes.

Guys I think your missing the point of this topic. I know the thing works, but in the case that something similar to what happened to me might happen to you, where one single backup file gets corrupt or something and you loose your data. I think apple should try to implement a better form of saving your game saves. That is all, I am not asking about why it didn't work, I am not saying yours wont work, I am just talking about the possibility for a better implementation of the service.

I don't really see how you could beat saving all your date into a designated database.
How else could they do it?
