Read his second post, he wants something that doesn't attenuate any of the frequency ranges. Essentially, he wants flat. I also call this balanced and analytic (analytic is a form of balance with one small change). Some may also call this signature neutral. Skullcandy are anything but this.

Dunu trident have great quality, but it isn't a flat frequency, which is what the OP wants. The Tridents have a slight V to them. A flat frequency will actually sound mid-heavy due to the fact that your ears are more sensitive to this range.

I own the EX300s, I'm sure there are some small changes from here to there, however, like with the Tridents, the 300s weren't flat for me. Based on that, I'm not certain that the 310s will change to a flatter sound.

The most neutral headphones I've ever used are the HiFiMan RE0s, however, they break quite quickly unfortunately. So I can't recommend them to the OP. I still stand by the word of Etymotic HF-series or Etymotic EtyKids. The OP should note that Etymotic does add a small bump in the 2kHz region of these to adapt to the loss of the 2kHz region due to the way songs are mastered.

They aren't flat, but they are MUCH more toned down in the highs and bass. Instead of overpowering bass and ear-splitting highs, they are much more enjoyable.

But yes, they aren't flat in the sense of headphones meant to be flat. :-/ I find them somewhere inbetween headphones for enjoyment, and headphones for audio editing. Good all-around headphones though. :D If you search through head-fi for the 310's, they are always "highly recommended."

Etykids wants 50$ for shipping, despite the v in the SPL graph for the tridents are going to win this time due to the price as customs here will round the value up and they will open it then charge me a fee for doing so or put a duties tax on it.

Sounds good. They are a high quality IEM nonetheless. Hope you enjoy them.

MP4 nation is a reputable source to purchase from. They are the official store for all Brainwavz products as well (they are owned by Brainwavz if I'm not mistaken).

That is rather stupid of you. You could easily fit 7 or 8 pairs of them into the budget that you're working with. That, coupled with the fact that you don't care about audio quality and that you want nose cancellation, says to me that you're just going along with everyone who hates skullcandy rather than really thinking about it for yourself.

The only decent skull candy i can purchase here in NZ are 50NZD$, they are far from flat when I said I didnt care about sound quality I didnt want people post 150$+ cans and telling me to push my budget, skull candy also have one of the worst build qualities I have ever seen.

I said what i said because you originally stated that you didn't care about sound quality, and because some skullcandy cost under $10, so build quality wouldn't matter since you could fit multiple pairs into your budget with ease.
