It was posted on the Russian Microsoft site in a blog post, but then pulled.

    The UI is very simple

    • The URL and search bar have been merged
    • The tab bar space has been reduced
    • The status bar has gone
    • Firefox style forward and back buttons
    • Bookmark bar is gone/hidden

Also, look at the taskbar. Theres lots of blank space near the tray icons. Could it be on an early build of Windows 8?

Looks nice, still not going to use it. I also doubt that is an early build of Windows 8 as well.

definitely windows 7. I like where they're going with the firefox style/chrome simplicity.

It looks a lot better than other IE releases but reducing the tab space to that is pretty stupid. I usually have tons of tabs open when browsing.

Looks nice for sure. But it isn't making me want to switch from Opera.

The only way I would switch to IE9 is if it got significantly lighter. Around Chrome/Opera size. Then I would maybe possibly think about actually having it installed on my system.
