iDesktop would be an application to allow the creation of folders, documents, etc on your Touch or iPhone.

Basically, it will be an iPod touch more like a computer.

So say you made a drawing with Sketch. Instead of only opening it with Sketch or Photos, it would appear on your iPod touch "Desktop. You could drag it into a folder for it to be more organized. Later, if you wanted to open it, you would touch it, and it would automatically open in Photos.

    Thoughts and stuff please.

i agree, it is a great idea, if im udnerstanding right, you want to have the os thats on the iPod touch and iPhone to be able to create folders and you can move them about etc? this would be great, but i dont know if it would work... The only way i can think of, is by downloading the apps launcher, and the games launcher (they act like folders) like i did, and then if you want you could change the name of the .app file and change the icon, to make more folders. You wont be able to save things there though, you would have to edit in winscp or something and change the text file.

That would be the point of the iDesktop app, to make folders, move things into folders, etc.

EDIT: Just posted a few screenshots.

it is very possible, all it needs is a main app, which could create other apps [the folders] and each of the folders would be a directory [like for NES emu where you put the roms] and then it would display those contents, allowing you to view them with a simple text/image reader. it wouldn't be hard to use either, as costumize allows you to easily move around apps

Well, it would be somewhat like that.

But, my main goal here would be to make the Touch/Phone a lot like a normal mac.

    Btw, like my icons?
