Ideas for the apple peel for the 4th gen ipod touch

    Why not include a wifi transceiver so you can tether your touch to your peel and surf the web, use skype check the news apps etc? It would be totally transparent to the end user and probably cost an extra 10 bucks in parts.

    What do you think?

    The apple peel already does this. That was the whole purpose.

    Sorry for double post, but what do you mean by "tether your touch to your peel"? The apple peel is already put on your ipod touch, in order to get the mobile signal.

    there is already a useless "tethering feature"on the ipod touch.But only if they can comme out with a frame for the 4g

    what the OP is talking about is being able to use the apple peel to connect to the internet anywhere via 3g.

    and what we're trying to say is that the apple peel does have a 3g receiver built into it..

    though its for data and some other stuff..if thats the same with internet

    Yes, the whole point of the apple peel is to make calls and connect to internet via EDGE data connection.
