As Most of you have read the "iDead" and "iParalyzed" and read the horrible things from, a touch screen broken, to pinnaples making me lose $400 (almost)...

    HERE IS THE FINAL PART...

Today I went to the Apple Store, and I was very nervous, because my iPod Touch suddenly stopped working for some "unknown reason".

I walked up to the Apple Genius Bar, and I told an Apple Genius the story, and within 5 fricken seconds he pulls out his flashlight to look into the headphone jack, and comes to the conclusion in under 30 seconds:

YOUR IPOD TOUCH HAS BEEN IN WATER

He tells me all about it and I ignore him because I already know everything about the piece of paper that senses water.

YES, I DID PUT ALCHOHAL ON A COTTON SWAB AND IN THE HEADPHONE JACK

    So he says:
"You can get a replacement for ONLY $200 MORE DOLLARS"
    (He didn't shout)

Unfortunately, being 13, I have no good way to get money, so I spent ALL MY:
    Christmas Money
    Birthday Money
    Allowance for 6 months

I am in the exact same position as last summer, trying to save money for an iPhone.

So my iPod Touch DOES work, but is Paralyzed, and the backlight nor the internal speaker work.

    What Should I do?
Option 1:Buy an old iPhone cheap on ebay after the launch of the 3G iPhone
    Option 2:Save up $200 for a replacement
    Option 3:Neither

Option 4. Redo the alcohol and try your luck at other apple stores.

Now What I've been doing (tell me if this will work):
    I cut a Q-tip (because it's to big).
I take an alchohal swab and squeeze it while it's surrounding the Q-Tip
Stick it into the end of the headphone jack
Twirl it, and take it out
    Repeat

Maybe it does not work then? From a guide i saw on how to do this a few weeks ago, that is exactly what he tells you to do. Maybe you should try selling that iPod Touch that is paralyzed to someone for cheeper, and then using some of your other money to buy a new one.
