iOS 4.0 Idea...

    Well I'm about to do this, but stop me if it's stupid. I'm going to change all the info within the 3.1.2 plist to 4.0 and try to trick iTunes into signing it.

    Also, is there a way we can just force iTunes to load the restore without having it signed? Maybe we should start looking into this.

    No, because the firmware's incomplete otherwise. What signing does is fill in the empty parts of the firmware, making it complete. If the firmware's incomplete, you can't restore to it.

    Wouldn't work. It would either f*** up your iPod or won't restore.
