Idea: Voip headfones

    for the voip that will be released in the near future
    Maybe instead of making a extra attachment can't we make some sort of adaptor for the iphone headphones, will this work.... just wondering

    the headphone jack only supports output, not input.

    But we could make sort of a headset that would have a plug what covers the whole bottom of the iPod and has the jack connected for your sound and the dock connector for the mic......

    Why dont you make one?

    Take the schematic they have for the dock connector mic and just add the mic on a headset so that there are two wires, one that hooks to the dock connector and one that plugs into the headphone jack, repectively.

    Shouldn't be too hard.

    seems too complicated for me, pass. if they make one however and charge a reasonable price for them and me i'm in.
    The only reason why i asked this in the first place was because i wanted the viop attachment to be as discrete as possible.
