Just as if you were looking through it yourself in the real world. Controls should be movable, position them how you like. Like Apple's virtual keyboard, they can have any language. So with this, you should be allowed to set where the controls are and how you want them. Like how you would change keys on the Keyboard. Double-Tap forward to jump forward, Double-Tap back to jump backwards. Bunny hopping as it were. Button positions can/should be changed to fit one's needs if end user chooses so.
