So there would be an "app icon maker" thing on iTunes, you crop a picture to a certain size and you assign which app it goes with and you're all good. You make a background, change sliders, change about anything you want with this "theme builder" software which could be made via iTunes. They could make an App for this too. What do you think?

Similar ideas have been given before, but I just don't see Apple incorporating theming into official firmwares.

I like it =] I think it's pretty genius. I like mine too though, and I think people should be able to theme however they want.

Blackbelt, get out of my mommie's room right now.

When I was using the PalmOS PDAs (since been replaced by the iPod touch), there was an app called Silverscreen which created themes for the Palm... I seriously hoped for something like that for the iPhone OS but sadly, there is no such program as yet... Seems like themes for the iPod touch can only be done on jailbroken units ya?

That's actually pretty good. That would be smart on Apple's part I think.

they need sort of a "theme store" like the app store for themes.
you can get sliders, backgrounds, icons, and complete themes.
    most free and some paid

thats how it should be done
