I was randomly thinking of things and I thought wouldn't it be so cool if we can change everything on the iPod touch to negative look just like a mac? Yes, it would be just like cmd-ctrl-alt-8 on a mac, except for the iPhone or ipod touch!

This would not be a theme and can peobably be used in SBsettings toggles for easy turn off and on.

This is perfect for looking at "hidden messages" on these forums.

How on earth would inverting the screen reveal "hidden messages"?

when people post something in their sig or something that has white font, you will be able to see it. We cannot highlight anything on iPod touches (unless you have the safari add on app downloaded from safari so you can go to copy and highlight it.) So inverting is a cool way of doing it and besides that reason, would be neat to see everything inverted.

No it won't. White text on white background.
Inverted: black text on black background.

This is useless, no-one needs it.

But even that, why would a mac have it if it is useless?

macs have it for ease of access - some users need it because the white-on-black scheme is easier on their eyes, some need it because of color-blind-related complications that make it hard to see things with the regular color scheme. there are even some people who see colors inverted, and inverting on-screen colors lets them see it normally.
