Ok. So i am not one to get mad over some scratches on the back of my naked Ipod Touch but I thought of maybe a solution. So this is a little Photoshop doodle of what i think might help.

As you might notice in the picture i tried to get the texture of the Mac Book Pro laptops, (brushed metal). I noticed that my Mac Book Pro doesn't get scratched easily and if it does, there are only minute signs of it. So i thought, what if they put that brushed metal onto the back of the Ipod Touch/IPhone. It might not look as sleek or fancy but i think it would do the job.

Comment on it and just say what you think about it.

    Thanks for reading.

ya but i was trying to say that apple should make this an optional choice for the permanent back on the Ipod Touch or IPhone because all the ones on the internet are all cases for the Ipods and the whole idea about the IPod Touch is to have a thin device in your hand which cases i saw do not provide.

    thanks though for informing me

No, that's not what he is talking about (i dont think), i'm pretty sure he is talking about the Anodized Aluminum (?) on the MacBook Pro's.

That is different from taking sandpaper to the back of your beloved iPod (which i would never do in a million years)

    But this idea looks cool...

LOL. Well, I like it. It would be weird though... having a wavy back case.

yeah, i know some people would use a brillo pad to get a brushed look on their ipods. I never would, use a case, they're cheap.
