I had an idea for emulator controls, in case iControlpad didn't work out.

It would require two iDevices, of second generation of more.

They would connect using Bluetooth peer to peer.

One iDevice would act as the emulator and display while the other would be controls. You wouldn't have to worry about covering up what you're trying to play, and you would have a whole screen for controls.

While it seems inconvenient to own two iDevices, it could be very useful for those that do

that just sounds unpractical... First problem is you'd need two devices... second, you'd need bluetooth working between them two, that would drain the battery a fair bit i'd say, then you got the game which each device has to process.

Great idea! We'll all just go out and buy a second iPod touch, and carry them both around just for fun!

yeah... umm i think this definitely wont work because i have never seen a firewire cable that plugs in to 2 ipods at once.

    it'd bluetooth sync, not firewire.

And some of us do have two iPod Touch's laying around XD but I agree it'd be incredibly impractical, and you'd have to have something to put the "screen" iPod on while you're holding the "controller" ipod. I guess one could make a case to hold both...oh wait that's a DS...
