    Hi all,

i just bought a 8Gb touch. it's my first ever iPod.

i'm quite curious how to assign multiply artist names in ID3 tags. (i'm sure i'm asking dumb questions

let's say i have a song by Jay Z and Linkin Park.
when i add "Jay Z; Linkin Park" as artist, then it appears as a new artist in the Touch "Jay Z; Linkin Park". is there anything i can do to have the songs listed under two separate artist names "Jay Z" and "Linkin Park" ?

no. the best that itunes can do is a seperate name for artist and album artist.

wrong. select the first song, hold shift, select the last song, let go of shift

    press ctrl + I or command + I if on a mac

or you could right cick and chose get info

type the information in the fields for the multiple items, then click OK
it may take a moment for iTunes to update your tags.
