lately ive had issues with Icy. It isnt working correctly. It isnt finding all the apps it should be that are found in cydia and apps wont uninstall thru icy either. (i get an error message)

i know ripdev discontinued it, but i heard someone was gonna take over development of it. Is there any way i can fix it or anything?

If not what about the other installer? Rock or something i belive. How is that?
I just hate using cydia. So slow... I loved the speed of icy.

    Thanks in advance

Stick with Cydia. Icy and rock are unpredictable. Cydia maybe slower but you can rely on it more than the others.

Icy did get discontinued and it hasn't been picked up so far by anybody else. It has those problems because while Cydia has been updated regularly, Icy hasn't and when Cydia changes it messes up how Icy interacts with Cydia. Rock causes only problems; it replaces mobilesubstrate, has many bugs, and crashes itself and your whole ipod regularly. Stick to Cydia for now. It's the only reliable choice.

I would uninstall it and Rock Extensions. They are the main cause of its problems.

I would uninstall everything installed with Icy then re-install them in Cydia.

Oh yeah. Sorry lol. But IMO Icy isn't that bad... It has its problems but since it still uses APT and mobilesubstrate it doesn't damage anything. I actually still keep it installed as a backup for when Cydia has problems.
