Icy vs Cydia - Speed Test

    Hi, i have made a video, Icy vs Cydia - Speed Test, which shows Cydia and Icy downloading and installing 'Instinctive Shuffle', then Uninstalling it.

    Faster is not always better. There are a lot of features Cydia has that Icy doesn't.

    Yeah, and like i say, i will touch on them in another video. This was the first that came to mind... Any suggestions for comparisons, before i do a This has this and this dont one

    Icy doesn't refresh on launch, ofcourse it beats Cydia at that point.

    That's not even close to fair.
    A fair starting point would be canceling the source refreshing of Cydia and going to the recent tab.

    Then go to Icy and go to the recent tab.

    Then tap the same package.

    Yes, but if you think about it... You have to wait X amount of time for cydia to load, and then it would be misleading...

    Thats why I love Icy, no stupid reloading data! And you also didnt count how cydia made you restart your springboard into the time.
    What video editor did you use???

    I recorded them using Veency, then since i couldn't be bothered finding a decent editor, i recorded the two videos playing next to each other (Two installing videos, then uninstalling videos) so that i could use Windows Movie Maker (Does anyone know if you can actually have two videos playing next to each other, like in the vid? (Using Movie Maker))
