so i was reading a forum about jailbreaking and they said make sure and not install icy because it wasn't refined yet.
My question is, if i do install icy will it mess up anything with my ipod?

No, I don't believe so. And if you do have problems you can always go back into cydia and uninstall it. If you don't know how to uninstall it you just go to the app, click modify, and then click remove.
    Hope this helped.

I myself had never had a problem with Icy, considering I only use it to remove packages. I have heard not to use Icy at all, so I don't install packages with it, I use Cydia.
