Hello all, newbie here so be gentle

I don't know when it started but I cannot delete any apps from my jailbrokenj touch 2g. They wiggle but there is no "x" to tap to get rid of them. I have quite a few apps on there including Bossprefs and I was wondering if something I did with that might have altered this feature or if anything else you can think of could have caused this? Jailbroken with Quickfreedom and running 2.2.1. Thanks to all who take the time to read this!

You need to get cydelete off of cydia. Or manually uninstall them in cydia. Hope that helps.

yea the apps you get from cydia wont have an x over them unless you get cydelete you will have to goto cydia then manage packages and delete them from there

Thanks for the suggestions gang but I already have cydelete and still can't get rid of them. Also NONE of my apps have any "x's", the cydia ones or the purchased ones from itunes!

Anything else you can think of???

    Thanks again!

i would say get rid of cydelete.. last i heard there was some bugs with it.. i may be wrong... but that'd b the first thing.. second, don't use bossprefs, use SBsettings. same thing but u don't have to quit outta the app ur in to get to it.. u just slide ur finger across the status bar and it drops down. thrid...

THERE IS NO NEED TO USE BIG LETTERS!

    thank you

Get rid of Cydelete, and Supreme Preferences. Apparently there is an update to Supreme Preferences by iMario, but it still might have a few memory leaks. Oh, and dont forget to respring.
