Icons messed up after restore

    Ok i restore my ipod to upgrade to 2.0
    the restore is done
    but the icons in spring board are a little messed up
    in the dock is only Photos
    and on the springboard are all the others (safari youtube ....)
    before i restore the icons were on their normall positions
    also my wifi messed up i cant connect to the int from my ipod

    after u restored it a message comes up sayin restore from bak up of ' ..... ' iPod

    then i syncs and ur apps r bak to wher they were b4 u restored ur ipod

    if u hav janurary software upgrade u should b able to move ur apps to where u want them

    hopefully that helps

    no i dont have the january upgrade so the wiggle feature
    but i click yes for the back up

    yea but 2.0 comes with the january upgrade so it doesnt matter

    Um, no, "from restore" did not cause this problem. Here's what you should do:
    1. Restore to 2.0
    2. When iTunes pops up asking you to either restore from a backup or set up as a new iPod, select set up as a new iPod.
