I don't like the categories icons. Is it possible to use any others I like?

If so, how to put them in iPod Touch 3.0 jailbreak?

    If SSH only? Where?

Are special icons a requirement? Will any icon I like be OK?

Create or download your desired icon. Name it categoryname.png. If you're using a custom theme, paste it into it's Icons folder. If not, create a folder (name it whatever you like), Create an "Icons" folder in it. Paste your png file into the "Icons" folder. SSH into your device. Copy the whole folder to /Library/Themes and enable it in Winterboard.

must be a .theme extension on the folder or it won't show in winterboard

Well, you might be right. But in my themes folder there are a lot of folder that isn't a .theme extension and still appears in Winterboard.

No, the other idea was better because you can still have the old icons just in case
