I have found that if I have an icon with some parts transparent, in the multitasking bar, that shows up black, which looks ugly. How can I prevent that?

Edit: Would it be transparent if I deleted all those shadow pngs?

    Edit: No

They don't come up black on mine but then I have a 3G so I didn't need to activate multitasking.

I don't think you get the multitasking bar if it is not enabled at all I'm not sure though. Does anyone how to remove the black outlines though?

Use a different icon. It's set so there's a constant shadow with generic app-constrained proportions.
