I am having a problem with my Audible app force closing. The app shows the start up screen for approx five seconds and then a small icon (similar to the right pointing triangle shaped “play” button) appears pointing toward the status/battery bar, followed by a force close. I cannot determine what this symbol is or what it means. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not sure what you mean by location symbol. I do know that when I open my other apps such as Pandora and the XM Radio app that I have no problems and that symbol does not appear.

    thx.

it means that its trying to find out where you are. in the maps app when you hit "find my location" it shows it too.

I think it means transferring location data.

The picture posted by Bok Choy is not the symbol I'm seeing. The symbol is the same (albeit, smaller) version of the "play" button when you're listening to music. I'll try to search other posts to assist me in posting a screen shot...yes, I'm that technically challenged.

    thx.

It is trying to find your location. Open Maps and click Current location. It will do the same thing
