I haven't used these yet, nor I have I found any guides for it.
How do I use these? For example, what do I name the files and where do I put them?
    Thank you in advance.

Put these three image in the UIImages folder of your theme. (/privat/var/stash/themes.xxxxx/THEME/UIImages)

Use the mask to crop stock icons to a different size or shape.
Overlay adds lighting effect or gloss/shine to the icon
Shadow is a dropshadow to give a 3D/floating effect.
