icon location for settings ??

    what location is the settings icon which needs to be changed in order for the springboard icon to change >?
    i'm struggling , any help please

    You can make a new theme for WinterBoard with only one icon in the Icons folder

    OR

    The stock Settings icon is here: /private/var/stash/Applications.xxxxxx/Preferences.app/icon.png

    ide rather not have too much running from winterboard.
    the icons in the locations mentioned are changed to what i want, yet there is no change to the original icon on springboard ?

    yes, and failing that i rebooted. no joy.

    simple winterboard themes (basically ones with no widgets or animations) son't affect your performance at all. just use a theme.

    yeh but i find them messy what with certain things gotta be on top of others blah blah, like 20minutes later 10 resprings its finally how i want.
