Hi all, this is my first post here on the forum, though have used the information on here a number of times since purchasing my 32gb 3G touch, mainly for jailbreaking information.

My question is this: I appear to have a icon next to the battery icon in the status bar (well, next to my newly added battery % now

Go into your Clock app and see if you have any timers or alarms set.
Ive never really experienced that before, but an alarm is what comes to my mind.

EDIT: I just activated an alarm within the Clock app and got the icon to come up. Its definitely an alarm that you set.

Yea...you have an alarm set. Disabling all alarms removes the icon.

    Doh, sorry, noob alert.

Thanks for the obvious answer, went to set up a alarm but decided against it, so forgot all about it.

If I didnt know what that was, I probably wouldove thought it was some kind of bomb timer, and threw my iPod against a wall, breaking it ):

What if the bomb was really sensitive though, and that blew it up...then you would be all burnt and crunchy
