.ico to .png

    does anybody know a program that i can use to change a .ico to .png cuz i can't find one. just post a link please. thanks

    I use xnview for almost everything:
    here

    or use a plug in with photoshop to open ico files, then save them as a .png
    download this and put it in your plug ins folder for photoshop

    404 error... I need this plugin too. CS3 wont open ico files...

    try here for the latest version:
    http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/
    although I'm not sure if it works for CS3. I'm using it for CS2 with no problems, but you may need to wait for an update (or pray for an update) And most places say to drop into the folder labeled file formats inside the plug ins folder- but it shouldn't matter.

    If that fails xnview is still a good solution to convert to png and then open the png in photoshop.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks man. Works great. I have CS2 on my laptop ans CS3 on my desktop and it works on both.
